-Education-
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biopsychology from the University of British Columbia, a degree in Naturopathic Medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM, a four year course), and extra training over the years in pharmacology, craniosacral therapy, homeopathy, acupuncture, meditation, counselling, and a myriad of other random weekend courses from Red Cross, to Religions of the world.  A Love of learning keeps me poor.

If you scroll to the bottom you will see links to CCNM, and the College of Naturopathic Physicians of B.C. (CNPBC) that gives me my license to practice, and regulates our profession.  The B.C. Naturopathic Association (BCNA) link has good info on naturopathic medicine.  The Los Angeles school of Homeopathy link I included as it has some solid info on the enigma that is homeopathy.

-Experience-
I have been in clinical practice since 2001 in Penticton, B.C., treating patients one on one, except when they bring with them their suspicious children or spouse.

I have treated many diseases in many states of severity.  I have told a few parents that the lump in their child's neck is just an active lymph node, and given a few gentle remedies.  I have told the 60 year old to get the lump on his neck removed ASAP, as it was carcinoma.  I have assessed many other odd lumps and weird rashes.  I have treated suicidal depression, the sorry-for-myself blues,  chronic sinusitis, and acute sprains.  I have helped women and men heal remarkably from cancer with treatment plans all naturopaths know about.  I have seen homeopathic remedies spark total turn arounds in health.  I have seen minor diet changes cure gall bladders and ulcers, reflux and constipation. Concussions resolve wonderfully with craniosacral therapy, and acupuncture is my go to for immediate relief from pain.  I have given out many, many lollipops (all natural organic ones of course!), and not all of them to kids.  I have gone through twice as many Kleenex boxes.  Tears come with the relief of healing, the safe space to share fears, the venting of old traumas.  It's all healing.

Sometimes, a patient needs something I don't have.  I have sent them to chiropractors, medical doctors, gastroenterologist, Intuitive counsellors, cardiologists, and dentists.  I have never, ever, given up on a patient.
